What is experiential marketing?

Our definition is:

Experiential Marketing is a live and interactive marketing discipline which builds positive emotional engagement between a brand and its consumers. It generates sensory impact using creative and innovative techniques.

Why use it?

Experiential marketing is one of the fastest growing marketing communication disciplines. Why? – because it is not just limited to stimulating the traditional two senses of sight and sound. It impacts on taste, touch and smell as well. Put simply it's like the difference between listening to your favourite band on the radio and then seeing them alongside 100,000 people live on stage.

It's the difference between telling people about features of a product or service and then letting them actually experience the benefits for themselves. If you have ever taken a performance car around a track, you will know that the experience is a million miles away from simply looking at a picture of the car in a magazine.
