Campaign:
- To create and implement a “hot sampling” campaign over 30 days visiting the largest and best multiple grocers and a selection of high footfall city centres
- To bring to life the brand proposition that consumers can enjoy “Authentic Italian restaurant quality thin and crispy pizza at home”
- To convey the quality, premium values, premium taste and credibility of a “frozen” pizza
- To create a brand experience that encompassed the look and feel of an Italian (contemporary) pizzeria restaurant
- Trailer unit capable of delivering high volumes of oven cooked samples
- Full logistics and planning for frozen stock warehousing and distribution
Post Mission Evaluation:
- Avg. hot samples at Multiple Grocers 4,317 and 3,959 MONP coupons per day
- A staggering 98% of consumers rated the product as excellent or good after tasting the pizza
- 92% of consumers said they would either definitely or be very likely to go on to purchase Dr. Oetker Ristorante as a result of their experience
- 99% of consumers rated the activity as very good or good
- 90% of consumers said they would recommend Dr. Oetker Ristorante to friends or family following their experience
